Our programmes

Specialist programmes

Some conditions need more than one specialist. Our programmes bring the right team together around your child.

The Epilepsy Programme

Understanding the challenges that seizures pose to children, adolescents and their families, our team is devoted to helping them live seizure-free, fulfilling lives. You can expect individualised care from experienced paediatric epilepsy professionals, working with neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, counsellors and nutritionists where needed. The programme offers comprehensive evaluation, testing, treatment, counselling and holistic support for children and families living with epilepsy and related disorders.

The Spasticity Service

Cerebral palsy affects movement, balance, walking and dexterity, and some children also have feeding difficulties, epilepsy, visual or hearing problems, difficulties with speech and language, learning, concentration, or emotional wellbeing. Recognising how much this can affect a child and family, our service brings together neurologists, rehabilitation experts, orthopaedic surgeons and therapists, to use every suitable treatment, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT), speech and language therapy, orthoses, botulinum toxin injections, surgery and baclofen pumps, in a plan tailored to each child.

The ADHD and Autism Programmes

These programmes help children and families cope with neurodevelopmental disorders through a holistic approach, using behavioural, medical and medication-based interventions where needed. Specialised developmental assessments, working with developmental paediatricians and therapists, are a core part of the team's work.
